Essie-Mink Muffs + Essence Stampy Skulls

I had a cold, a very bad one, but I'm back.
Today I'm wearing 2 coats of Essie-Mink Muffs, with some very cute skulls from one of the Essence stampy plates. The skulls' eyes are heart shaped, sweet! Unfortunately, the design became a little blurry after applying topcoat. (in the pics it looks worse than it actually is!)
About Mink Muffs I can be very short: L.O.V.E.!I'm going to wear this delicious milk-chocolate shade a lot, I'm sure.

Only for French Manicure lovers....

First of all: today is 10th of october 2010, so 10-10-2010. Like it:)
Now onto the nails. I love french manicures; they look clean and fresh, and go with everything. Yesterday's manicure still looked perfect, but I removed it anyway:) Time for some french chic.
For the white tip I used 2 coats of Essence-White Secret. After that I topped it with Essie-Mademoiselle, and Essie-Good To Go. Ready! I think it looks pretty cute:)

Chica from the Essence Secret Trend Edition: Show off!!!

Essence released a "Secret" trend edition, named Show Off. I found the display yesterday at DM in Germany, and was pleasantly surprised. This might be especially interesting for make-up lovers, as I saw some very colourful, well pigmented eyeshadows and lipglosses! I found a video on youtube showing the collection: CLICK

I picked up just one shade of polish, Chica, a real stunner!It's a deep dark blue with super sparkly blue shimmer. It's breathtaking....
This is 2 coats, no topcoat.

Weekend Manicure: Black Onyx+Glisten Up!

This is one the most beautiful manicures I did lately, I'm in love with this combination! I'm wearing 2 coats of Opi-Black Onyx topped with a coat of Essence-Glisten Up!The result is very "aquatic". It reminds me of fish skin! I'm so happy I could get my hands on a few bottles of Glisten Up!I never noticed the beauty of this polish before, so I'm very happy some of our fellow bloggers did:). I can't believe I had this amazing shade in my hands a few times, but put it back in the display!!!!

Essence-Just Rock It!+CND Effects-Amethyst Sparkle: WOW!

This is 2 coats of Essence-Just Rock It plus 1 coat of CND Effects-Amethyst Sparkle. This is so beautiful!The sparkles give this polish an incredible boost!It reminds me a little of Essie-Sexy Divide.

NOTD: Essence-Just Rock It!

For this Nail Of The Day I'm wearing 2 coats of Essence-Just Rock It!, no topcoat. This is a lovely dark blue shade!Actually that's all I have to say about it, LOL:).

Essence-Underwater + Essence-Glisten Up! (Flakies!)

Essence underwater is a lovely metallic dark blue shade. It gets even better when adding a coat of Glisten Up! I've seen Glisten Up a few times this week on various blogs, and I wondered why I had never bought it. I had no idea this was such a pretty flakie polish!
By the way(and this might be shocking to some of you): this is my first bottle of nailpolish with flakies! Yes, seriously! But now I understand why everyone likes these so much, the effect is stunning:). Have a nice day ladies! XO

Essence-Hypnotic Poison

This is 3 coats of Essence Color and Go-Hypnotic Poison...WOW!If, like me, you love red nailpolish, you need this one! It's a very rich, shimmery deep red. And, here comes the best part: these 3 coats were dry in 10 minutes. L.O.V.E., seriously:).

NOTD: Essence- DressTo Party

O.k.., nee, ik vind m'n nagels echt te lang voor dit soort kleuren. Kortere nagels zien er toch een stuk frisser en chiquer uit. Ik weet dus ook niet hoe lang ik deze lengte ga volhouden,:).

Uhm.., no, I think my nails are way too long for this type of colours. Shorter nails look more fresh and chic. I'm not sure for how long I'm going to keep my nails at this length.

Essence-Hula Dreams

Ik was een beetje aan het rommelen door m'n "drogisterij" stash (ja, die bewaar ik apart van de duurdere lakjes)en kwam dit flesje tegen! Essence-Hula Dreams, van de "Aloha Sun" collectie uit 2007. Wat een juweeltje! Ik begrijp níet waarom ik deze lak maar één keer (als pedicure) heb gedragen, want hij is prachtig. Metallic zeegroen met shimmer. Jullie hebben er weinig aan, want het is een limited edition, maar toch...
Ik draag 2 laagjes zonder topcoat, en, omdat het glitterweek is, zie je ook glitters op m'n vingers; die zijn van de Lush Glitterbug. (de foto's zijn een beetje vaag, sorry)

I was going through my "drugstore stash", which I keep apart from the high end brands, and I found this bottle of polish: Essence- Hula Dreams, from the "Aloha Sun" collection from 2007. I don't get why I wore this only once as a pedi, since this colour is a true treasure! It's a metallic sea green with shimmer. So pretty! Unfortunately it's a limited edition, sorry guys!
I wear 2 coats, no topcoat. And, because it's glitterweek, I wear Lush's Glitterbug on my fingers :). (please excuse me for the slightly blurry pics)
