How to choose Man Dress Shoes

Man Dress Shoes

By: Anthony Kristovich III

Which man dress shoes you pick may at first seem like a simple choice. You might shop around, see something that looks nice, and then pick your favorite color. While this might work, there are many things to consider that might not even cross your mind.

The first thing to consider is what else you are wearing. I know, seems simple, but knowing if this is going to be worn with business casual dress (slacks/dress shirt) as opposed to a full suit does make a difference. With a full suit, you want the nice, traditional polish shoes to compliment the suit, as that is the look you are putting forward with wearing a suit. If you are are dressing more casual, as most places are in recent times, you might consider a comfortable pair of oxfords or rockports. After all, if you don’t have to wear full dress shoes, why not just wear a comfortable shoe.

The average person steps 4,000 – 5,000 times a day. That’s roughly 3 miles. This can heavily impact which style of man dress shoes you wear, as well as how the padding and insole are manufactured. Quality speaks for itself, as the saying goes. How well the shoes will hold up is a definite thing to consider.

The above are just some items to consider when you’re shopping for man dress shoes, and things normal men don’t think about when they’re out and decide to grab a new pair of shoes. Shopping online can make it drastically easier to find precisely what you want at the price you want.

2010 Fashion

Author: Adam Singleton
With every new year, fashionistas across the globe eagerly await the fashion world’s newest trends – and this year is certainly no different. It’s time to say goodbye to asymmetry, baggy pants, and washed out hues, and get ready to welcome a whole to range of vibrant colours, prints and styles.
It seems every year sees a fashion revival of some kind – and this year, it’s all about the 80s and 90s. Expect to see biker shorts, bumbags, and bodysuits – for example, from the likes of Rochas, Stella McCartney, Celine, and Donna Karan. Don’t shy away from 80s or 90s graphic prints. In fact, the bolder the better. 2010 is also a year to don your inner wear as outer wear. From lace-trimmed slips and corsets to frilly bras underneath sheer tops, you don’t have to hide those beautiful intimate pieces anymore. Instead, show them off all you can. Clean cut pieces – for example, crisp white shirts, tailored trousers, and shaped parkas – will also be huge this spring.
When it comes to accessories like handbags, quilted and patchwork designs are at the top of the trend list. However, these designs will also emerge in apparel – particularly as patchwork skirts and springtime jackets. Those looking for an ultra casual look can opt for rustic straw and wicker bags – also among the key fashion accessory pieces this season. Looking for shoes? 2010 has traded sky-high heels for flats, kitten heels, and low-level heels – and Missoni, Louis Vuitton and Jimmy Choo are eagerly offering inspiration.
However, one of the biggest fashion trends for 2010 is in printed apparel and accessories. You’re bound to see a lot of pinstripes, graphics, and leopard prints. But two of the most prominent designs will be vintage and tribal prints; from bold, ethnic designs to more intricate tribal patterns, 2010 is the year to flaunt those prints.
And, of course, no trend report is complete without a word or two on colour. It seems 2010 will be the year of blues and yellows – particularly lemon yellow and ice blue. So whether you’re shopping for clothes, shoes, or accessories, gravitate towards colours inspired by the sun and the sky. Don’t be afraid to combine and layer various shades of either colour. As far as spring’s neutral colours go, it’s all about fleshy tones such as blush, rose, soft tan and apricot – as relayed by the Warehouse collection.
Retailers everywhere are already rolling out their springtime collections – which means you’ll be able to see these trends in action, whether in high street stores, boutiques, or department stores. So get a head start on 2010′s springtime fashions, and look your best in the latest trends.

Beauty Makeup (How to apply foundation)

foundation

From setting the Base to selecting the Perfect Foundation everything you wanted to know about foundation. Foundation, also called a makeup base. Foundation is used to enhance the color of the complexion. It’s purpose not only to add color but it works to smooth out the texture and tone of your skin. Three basic types may be used, depending upon your skin type.
Choosing Perfect Foundation

Are you a little nervous when it comes time to buy a new bottle of foundation and you don’t have a clue what color will work for you simply by looking at the color through the bottle?

Take your old bottle with you and use it to match the color on the new foundation. Simply hold the old bottle up to the new brand and find a match. Couldn’t be simpler. The biggest mistake women make is choosing a foundation that’s too light. This gives an unnatural, ashen look. These days some companies hand out samples for trial – it is always helpful to take the sample home and try the foundation for a few days – that way you will know how you feel with it before buying the full size
How to apply foundation make up ?

* First begin with clean hands and a clean face.
* Now apply moisturizer appropriate to your skin type on the face.
* Let the moisturizer set for a few minutes, remove the excess moisturizer with a tissue.
* Camouflage under-eye circles and blemishes with concealer.
* Select a foundation that is appropriate to your skin type. The color should match your skin, disappearing when blended well.
* Shake the foundation bottle well to mix the formula.
* Using a makeup sponge or the tips of your fingers, apply dots of foundation on your cheeks, chin, forehead and tip of the nose.
* Using the sponge or your fingertips, blend the dots together on your face, gently blend in upward, outward motions and pay special attention to blending around the nose, mouth and jawline.
* Set the foundation with loose powder immediately after application.

Tips:

1. For a more natural look, put a small amount of moisturizer in the palm of my hand, mix a small amount of foundation in with it and apply it to my face.
2. If your freckles are light, don’t even try to cover them up. Show them off by using a sheer foundation. If you happen to have the darker ones that you just can’t live with, choose a cream foundation to cover and even out skin tones.
3. Don’t want to go all out with a foundation? Tinted moisturizers may be all you need if your complexion is dewy, but you want a light, sheer wash to even out blotchiness.
4. Always check a foundation along the jawline to be certain you will not be left with a tide-mark.
5. If blending is a problem, apply the foundation while your moisturizer is still a bit wet.
6. When testing foundation. Try it on the inside of the forearm as it so the closest to the neck color there. Because it’s protected from UV damage. The make you buy should blend to the skin color of the neck, not the face.
7. Test foundation on the inside of the forearm-skin tone is closest to neck color there, because it’s protected from UV damage.

Summer Beauty Tips

If you get blotches on your skin or suffer from mild sunburn despite wearing sunscreen then you need to change your technique of wearing sunscreen. Your first reaction will be to change the product that you are wearing but that is where you are wrong.

The reason why you may be suffering from the sun damage is because you wear the sunscreen after your skin had been exposed to the sun or a few moments before you step out.

This is where you are wrong. In order to gain the benefits that the sunscreen has to offer you must apply your sunscreen 20 minutes before you step out. The lotion needs to soak into your skin to be able to protect it from the harmful rays of the sun.

You may also notice the skin on your arms and legs getting dry and looking dull. You may wonder how it is possible to get dry skin in summer even after you use a moisturizing cream.

The problem is that most women use a moisturizing sunscreen lotion in the day before they step out into the sun but don’t use a moisturizer at night. This is where the issue arises. In order to have soft and radiant skin you need to moisturize it at night too.

You can avoid dehydrated looking skin too by drinking a glass of water before you go to bed at night. This is the easiest way to hydrate your skin and protect it from getting dry and looking dull and lifeless.

Women walk in sandals for most of the summer. This leads to the skin on the feet and heels getting dry and in severe cases it may also leads to cracks on the skin. Now, if you face this issue then do not panic.

Simply soak your legs in a tub of warm water every night and use a loofah to get rid of the dead skin cells. Use Vaseline on your feet before you go to bed and wear socks to trap the moisture. Alternatively you could shop around for creams and gels that are rich in moisture and help to hydrate the skin.

Beauty is the quality that gives pleasure to the mind or even
senses and is associated with such properties as
harmony of form or even color, excellence of artistry,
truthfulness, and originality.

A common understanding of the word beauty suggests
that it’s the appearance of things and people. For
illustration, we call miss globe or even miss universe the virtually
all
beautiful female on earth. Also a fully blossomed
rose is as well called a beauty. Beauty can’t be measured,
not can it be counted. It’s purely subjective in nature,
and its comprehension changes based on data from perception
set of individuals.

Beauty has always been revered from the time individual
kind had developed basic senses. We’ve heard of
umpteen number of stories in history when wars utilized to
be inflicted upon for the desire of beautiful females. Beauty
is all pervasive in nature and rises above any
discrimination of race, caste, religion, etc.

Many theorists and scientists have tried to deconstruct
beauty into even more understandable parts. 1 idea is to
look at it from the point of see of how much symmetry is
discovered in the object. A few of the main contributions in this
regards are – The inborn inclination of people to be
attracted to symmetry coupled with the natural want or even
pursuit of happiness leads to the premise that symmetry
is indeed the symbol of beauty.

Mortal beings are so engrossed with beauty that it’s
taken a awesome shape in economy in the form of beauty
industry. There are many enterprises and organizations
taking part in selling beauty products. These range from
your next door beauty salon to a multi-billion premium

countries in the globe.

Contact Lenzs

In most cases, places that sell contact lenses can’t sell a contact lens no prescription. That may seem a little strange, especially if you want color contacts and have perfect eye sight. Even if you could buy contacts without seeing an eye doctor, it may be a very bad idea. See your vision is precious and you don’t want to risk losing it.

The risk you face is cornea damage from a contact that doesn’t fit properly. Contact lenses aren’t all the same size and shape. You need lenses that fit your eyes so they will work for you. The lens is designed to float on a layer of tears. If a lens is the wrong size or shape, you can get irritation on your eye.

That’s an irritation that makes for an uncomfortable fit on your eye as well as a possible injury to an eye. Either problem is a problem you don’t need. Getting that lens fit just right is what an eye doctor will help you with. That’s why even if you have perfect vision, you should see an eye doctor before you get any contact lenses.

Once you get that prescription for contacts, you’re ready to get the lenses. You may want to get the first set from your eye doctor. Why? The doctor will examine the lens fit on your eyes to make sure the fit is correct. After that, you can get that prescription and take it anywhere you like. You really have some options then to save money with discount contacts.

Consider buying online and you can save more than you might think. You’ll get the exact same contacts you get at a local optical place, you just save money. If you’ll notice, even if you buy contacts at a local place, the contacts places don’t usually have your lenses in stock anyway. Why? Simple. There are so many styles, brands and sizes, one contacts outlet won’t try to stock everything. To save money, they keep inventory low and just order when they need to restock. You wait.

But you can order online and you’ll get fast shipment since the online suppliers do keep the contacts on hand and ready to go. That’s why they can stay in business. They ship fast and save you money.

Buying contact lens no prescription is usually not possible. It wouldn’t be a great idea even if you could. You want a lens that fits just right or you risk eye injury and all kinds of complications.

We change Beauty

Face is the most essential part of the body and radiant face is the first step to look great. We love to look our best at any season and occasion but the environmental change restricts us from flaunting our flawless skin. Changes in temperature and other weather conditions may call for adjustments in your skin care. Let’s check out some face care tips which we can adopt to fight against the harms caused to it because of climatic change. SUMMER CARE One of the most horrifying problems faced by our skin in summers is sun burn. To fight against this issue, one should always apply broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF formulation that will protect both UVA and UVB rays. Reapply once every 2 hours. “Too much of exposure to sun leads to pigmentation of the skin and as a result the tanning effect start taking place, so one should always go for SPF formulated sun screen lotions. Don’t forget your hair line or ears which are often neglected,” stated Naina Balsavar, the beauty expert.

Pigmentation is also caused due to over exposure of sunlight. Premature aging, wrinkles, sagging are some of the reasons which one should take extra care during summer. “Acne and blemishes are caused by various factors like hormornal imbalances, bacterial infections and pollutions and not really high humidity in fact clean moisture is good for the skin,” said stylist Clint Fernandes. Blossom Kochhar highlighted, “In India, we face two types of summers – hot and dry and hot and humid. During dry season, the skin tends to become dry as a result one should opt for cream based face cleansers. And the emergence of humid temperature results in open pores and oily skin resulting in rashes, boils and pimples.” Have at least 12 glasses of water a day to avoid dehydration and loss of moisture from the skin. “It keeps your skin hyderated and also helps in cleansing your bowels so as to be free from any kind of acne or boils which are caused due to such reasons,” Naina added. Eat lots of juicy fruits or have juices.

Avoid oily and fried food as much as possible. The best solution to get rid of all the skin problems is to keep the face clean. Always follow the three step process – cleaning, toning and moisturizing. Clint added, “One should wash the face regularly with a good ph balanced face wash and then use a toner after followed with an oil free moisturizer. Do this at least 3 times during the day also keep oil absorbing tissues handy.” And the skin healing procedure is definitely incomplete without exfoliation. WINTER CARE Winter season can be extremely stressful for our skin due to strong chilly winds and cold temperatures outside and drying-low humidity inside.

The cold temperatures result in poor blood circulation of the facial skin. As a result your skin does not get enough nutrients and oxygen and all the healthy, regenerative processes in your skin slow down. Henceforth, skin looses its glow and becomes dull. Clint also added, “Use a slightly heavy moisturizer in colder climate after your face wash and toner. Avoid washing your face too often during the day as it will dry out your skin during winter time.”

“In winters, the dry cold winds attack the skin and causes dry red patches and wrinkles. Always use oil based creams and moisturizers as skin loses moisture more quickly than it replenish it. The extra-rich emollients in moisturizers help seal in the water below the skin surface and act as a barrier against external conditions,” added Blossom. Protect the delicate areas near eyes from winter chill by wearing those trendy and chic sunglasses. Apply a good eye cream at day and night keeps wrinkles at a bay. Naina informed, “To stay away from dried and flaked lips, petroleum jelly based lip balms and lip therapies are the best solution. Butter and ghee are very effective in curing chapped lips and renders an extra softness.” A proper nutritious intake helps in rejuvenating the skin from within. Be it is any season water plays an important role in keeping your skin alive.

If you feel comfortable in loose clothing, you can opt for completely loose-fitting medical scrubs. If you usually carry medical equipment with you, you should buy medical scrubs with pockets. Work efficiency definitely depends on the comfort that is offered by the medical scrub that you are wearing.

Spooky Halloween Nails!

For this Halloween mani I used the nailstickers I showed you in yesterday's post and, ofcourse, Eyeko-Vampira polish! Oooooooh, scary....! I just love the "graveyard effect" of the crosses, and the cute little ghosts and pumpkins. I also have some nice stickers with bats, but they're black, so I couldn't use them over this black polish. I'll save those for my next Halloween mani(tomorrow?). XO
