Barry M- Dusky Mauve (Chanel Paradoxal Dupe!)

Yesterday I saw this post by RijaH, which made me go directly to Alicejohavesentials, as they are the place to be for Barry M. I'm lucky Alice lives close to where I live, so I could pick my order up immediately.
Barry M-Dusky Mauve seemse to be THE Chanel Paradoxal dupe. I decided to compare Barry M to Purple Grey, and this is the result:

Index+Ring finger: Dusky Mauve Middle finger+Pinky: Purple Grey


In this pic I added 1 coat of CND-Violet Shimmer to Purple grey (middle finger+pinky)


Dusky Mauve (right) is obviously darker than Purple Grey+Violet Shimmer:

I'm very happy with this new Barry M shade, it's fabulous! I read that Paradoxal has a hidden shimmer, well, so does Dusky Mauve! But, if you don't like shimmer, Purple Grey is still a perfect alternative, the base seems to be almost identical. I'm happy I own both shades:) x0

My mom's nails: Purple Grey (Chanel Paradoxal?)

My mom, 63 years old, has very beautiful nails, and long, slim nailbeds. I offered her to do her manicure with Models Own-Purple Grey (the Chanel Paradoxal look-a-like). Ofcourse she couldn't resist this beautiful colour. And my daughter neither, she's wearing it on her toes now. Three generations in love with nailpolish; it's all in the family;).
This is 2 coats plus Seche Vite.

Models Own Purple Grey (Paradoxal Look a Like)

After seeing THIS post by The Swatchoholic, I decided to get myself a bottle of Models Own-Purple Grey. I'm still waiting for 3 botlles of CND Effects (sparkles and shimmers for layering),which I think are neccesary to achieve the Chanel look, so you'll have to wait a few days before I can show you how wonderful this will look on my nails:).
I don't own Chanel-Paradoxal, so I can't make a comparison, but that's why we all love internet so much, right?
