My Lucky Fauxnadicure.

Vandaag ontving ik mijn 9 Fauxnad image plates, joepie:). Het zijn de achthoekige plates, die bij de meesten van jullie wel bekend zijn.
Ik ging direct oefenen, en kwam erachter dat het design van deze plates iets dieper is dan dat van de Konads; hierdoor komt er dus meer stamping-polish op het stempeltje, en als deze niet droog is, druk je het hele design plat op je nagel, waardoor je 1 grote vlek krijgt. Je lost dit makkelijk op door de stamping polish een paar seconden te laten drogen op het stempeltje vóór je gaat stempelen. (niet te lang wachten natuurlijk, want dan heb je weer een ander probleem)
Voor deze Fauxnadicure heb ik het klavertje 4 van imageplate k06 gebruikt, met witte Konad stamping-polish. De basislak is OPI ST. Petersburgundy, 2 laagjes, topcoat Seche Vite.

Today I received my 9 Fauxnad image plates, yay:). It's the octagonal shaped ones, which most of you are familiar with.
I started practising immeadiately, and discovered that the designs on these plates are a bit deeper than the konad ones, which causes too much stamping-polish to be transferred to the stamp; if the polish isn't dry enough yet, you get a stain on your nail, instead of the design. This can be easily prevented if you just let the polish dry for a few seconds on the stamp, before transferring the design to the nail. (don't wait too long, because that will cause another problem)
For this Fauxnadicure I used the four-leaf clover from imageplate k06, with white konad stamping-polish. The base is 2 coats of OPI ST. Petersburgundy, topcoat Seche Vite.
