Aquariums That Are Definitely Worth A Second Glance.

Many of us may have had aquariums or must be having them. But what we have here are a selected few, which are unique in their size, shape & looks which most of us must have never even thought could be aquariums.

And here are some natural looking aquariums. Instead of having the regular gravel & ceramic & all the usual stuff in an average fish tank, these aquariums have real aquatic plants that give them these magnificent & real looks.

Tank is L shaped. The long part of the L is 36 feet, the short part of the L is 27 feet. The front to back of the long part of the L is 18 feet, the front to back of the short part of the L is 15 feet. The tank water is 9 feet deep. The aquarium holds a little over 50,000 US gallons. The floor area of the aquarium is 800 square feet. I only have glass on the top 5 feet of the tank and have a floor at that level so I can feed the fish etc. I don't over feed and I do about 10,000 gallon water changes every week.

AquaDom.

Located at the Radisson SAS Hotel in Berlin-Mitte it's a 25 meter tall cylindrical acrylic glass aquarium with built-in transparent elevator. Reynolds Polymer Technology, a U.S. company constructed the acrylic glass cylinder. With a diameter measuring over 11 meters, built on a 9 meter tall concrete foundation, the Aquadom is the largest acrylic glass cylinder in the world. It contains some 2600 fish of 56 species & is filled with 900,000 liters of seawater.
